My name is Simon Hawes and I am a Conceptual Graphic Designer. I studied at Central Saint Martins school of Art and left in 1998 with my (BA) Hons ready to conquer the world. I have worked for some great companies and met some amazing people along the way.
I am currently freelancing, and previously I was working for FIFA as a creative lead across .com, social and leading the creative output for FIFA+. Managing a small team to design assets for FIFA films, series and supporting across all tournaments, from the global stage to smaller more local events. I was also Design Lead at Cheil, working mainly on Samsung and new pitches, then previously as Design Director at Rosetta Europe, Design Group Head at Haygarth in Wimbledon and Head of Design at LIDA M&C Saatchi, along with design lead at Initials Marketing.
Working closely with the creative teams, freelancers and artworkers to achieve the best possible end result is something that has always inspired and motivated me. I see myself as an easy going hardworking person who is passionate about what he does and what he and others around him produce, for me it’s simple, I want to do the best work with the best people.
When I can I pursue my other passion, sailing.
